Claim Your Piece of the Online Customer Account Portal

Online Customer Accounts Improve Your Customer Experience!

Here at Hub City Propane, we take our mandate seriously to provide REAL propane service to clients like you in Ohio and Indiana. Our team consistently strives to make ourselves, our products, and our services available and convenient. While some companies have closed offices and terminated local employees, we have gone the other way with facility enhancements and adding more team members. We want to be sure that you have a pleasant, personal experience with us. This is why we now introduce to you your new personal online customer account portal.

Within the past year, we’ve received many compliments on the major improvements made as we relaunched our Website. Today, we are bringing focus to one of the industry-leading innovations you’ll find when you go to HubCityPropane.com. You have access to a personal online portal for your account information and other special features.

This portal could be likened to a virtual file cabinet filled with password-protected data about your Hub City Propane account activity and options. For a number of years, we have provided you with the option to make online payments on your account balance. This new portal takes things to the next level, which you can begin to see from the graphic display at the bottom of this post. You can use the portal to check multiple accounts once you have set them up.

Many of you discovered the portal when you saw the red and blue square in the upper right corner of our Website. In the blue section, it reads “Sign Up, Login, Pay Bill.” Clicking on that blue box takes you to a registration page so you may indicate the email address where you can opt-in to receive updated account information. You’ll choose a unique password, which means that only you can access this data online. Be sure to safely put that password in a secure location, if you need a reminder in later visits.

When you register and log in for the first time, it will ask for your account number, which you can obtain from a current statement or can be provided by a service consultant at our Hub City Propane service center. Our existing clients should already have this unique number, which is referenced on any transactions that are generated.

As you make your initial entry into the portal, a special screen will pop-up offering a brief tutorial on the features and functions of the new portal. After that first visit, you won’t automatically see the option to take that little tour, so why not take the opportunity as you begin?

The blue bar at the top of your portal screen has a number of drop-down windows, and when you press on each down arrow, you’ll be able to investigate the new features. Click on the boxes that are displayed to see what’s available to you.

On the far left, “My Account” lets you view current information about your address(es), plus activity on services and products since activating your portal, and more. You’ll find the “Enrolled Programs” click-box, too, which will list the Hub City Propane packages and special offers that you may have in effect.

There’s data on your tank(s) and any propane equipment in place, such as an electronic tank monitor. The tank section even gives a rough estimate of the fuel level remaining in each tank. Of course, the most accurate reading is the one that you will see on your smartphone app for the electronic tank monitor(s), or by opening the hood on your tank to check the gauge manually.

Selecting the “Paperless Statements” box under “My Account” gives you the option to avoid paying postage and wasting paper on mailing back and forth.

We encourage you to set up your personal portal to maintain good records of account updates and transactions between you and Hub City Propane, to make convenient online payments, or to order more fuel and request services.

Naturally, you always have the option to make payments in person and visit our team at the Hub City Propane service center in Union City, Indiana. We very much enjoy seeing you!
